Work in progress wednesday - Yarn barf

Hello Wednesday *Waves*

Quick one from me today, as i am in the middle of fitting a dye studio in my work shop {Squeeee you can read more about that and other stuff i have been up to in Mondays blog post}

Yarn is  from my hand dyed fantasy collection
As you can see, my Hitchhiker is growing, the light is not great today, and i don’t have my white box set up, so please excuse the photos!

This project has given me nothing but headaches! Because of the awful yarn barf, this is no one’s fault but my own - typical!!??

In the end i have had to cut and re-tie, and wind the knotty bit by hand, which i will re-join at the end. - Hand wind balls are really cute though!

I was hoping to show you, my clutch bag progress today, but it was a non-starter, because within five mins of casting on, i had to frog, and then snapped my needle. - Not a great start to the bank holiday weekend lol

Yesterday i did a review on the knitting apps i currently have on my iPhone, if anyone has any that are not on my list, i would love to know what they are!

And finally, reading wise, i have moved on to the final book, of the trilogy, Fifty shades freed
 Fifty Shades Freed
I am now finding myself at this point thinking about what i am going to read after, I am thinking ether the hunger games or a trilogy by Anne rice.

  4. I love hand wound balls. They do look very cute and I tend to not have as much issue with yarn barf when I use them. Love the colors of your hitchhiker.

  15. I need to investigate these fifty shades books. I think I must live in a box because I keep hearing the titles but have no idea what they are about. I've only just found out what the hunger games are about...lol

    Love the colour of your yarn. I've been searching through my straight needles to see if I can be getting on with the hitchhiker whilst I wait for my new needles, I want to knit some more of it!
