WIP : New Adventure squeee

Morning my lovelies,

As most of you know, we lost my brother in law a couple of months ago, and along with all the heartache it has also brought around some life changing decisions.

It was no secret that my husband and I were trying for our 4th child, but as you know my brother in law has left behind 6 beautiful children, who need us more than ever at the moment, so we have decided to concentrate on the children we have.

With this in mind, I have been thinking about what I want "to do" with myself now that my baby making days are over, while a part of me is sad that I may never experience birthing another child, the other part is mega excited!!!

I love and really enjoy Hand Dyeing my yarn, and I am very passionate about knitting and crafting in general so it only seemed right to take A Stash Addict Yarn one step further.

  While Etsy is a great selling platform, and i have had such amazing feedback about my Yarn which has given me the confidence to take this next step, i also want to stock and share other products that i love and use myself, like the knitpro needles, and my be-loved Clover hooks, patterns from designers who I think rock!! And of course a much wider range of yarn blends, then I am currently stocking.

 Creating a website with own shopping cart facility’s seemed the next logical step, but wow is it time consuming!! lol I am working my butt off trying to get it up and running by May, but I am not 100% happy with the overall "look" at moment, so I am sure lots of tweaking will take place over the next few months.

 You can reach my new website by using both astashaddict.co.uk and astashddict.com  at the moment it will take you to the home page which displays this website is under construction but check back in May and hopefully your see a fully working shop!! {fingerscrossed!!}

I have also started up  new Facebook page, I know I already have one for my blog, but when i picked the name for that page, I had never dreamed that I would be opening an online shop lol so the title has no real relevance so I thought it was best to keep them both separate to avoid confusion.

If you could pop over and like and share my new page facebook.com/astashaddictyarn with your yarnie friends, I would be so grateful. {A huge thank you to those who have already, your support means the world to me!!}

 Finally I would just like to say a soppy thank you to you the knitting/crochet and blogging community because I have reached my first year in blogging and it has been such an amazing year, I have learnt so much about myself and the craft.. You guys are so talented and so witty, Reading your blogs, and reading your comments give me something to look forward too, and most importantly inspire me massively.

xx
