Work in Progress Wednesday - {12-10-11}

With Tami
Hello Wednesday :)

This week, I am working on another Amigurumi Creation, after finishing Snow flake on Friday, I cant Waite to get stuck into another one, I have also had someone ask to buy him, but I don't think I could part with this one, seeing as he is my first, and the fact he has odd legs and arms lol

{I did complete snow flake on Friday, but didn’t have time to blog, so have included a picture for those of you who saw me making him last week. you can see more pictures, and read about my day out at Ally Pally Knit and stitch by clicking Here}

This time I am planning to make a Rainbow Robot, i have drawn on paper what I want him to look like, and this time I will be making a pattern lol.

I am using easy knits sock yarn, I did get side tracked and ended up making a rainbow spiral {hehe}which I am going to block and turn into a pendent :)

Also now have a collection on Rainbow pens, to make note writing more fun :)

I have also started sewing in the ends for my vintage cape, I decided to it would be a good idea to do, after every 20 I make!
I am also making mini yarn wreaths for Christmas decorations; I have not taken a picture of the one I started last night, as it’s nearly finished and will be on FO Friday.

Have a great week, and thank you for stopping by xx

  1. Good idea to sew in ends as you go, rather than having them all to do at the end (worst part of a project in my eyes!)

    Love your rainbow spiral and I am very jealous of your rainbow pens!

  2. Fun office supplies always make everything more fun!

    And I hate sewing in ends any time during the project. It just slows things down too much! I think your idea of setting a square limit before you do it, then you're not slowing down your work so much.
