Exciting weekend update...

Having a fantastic weekend, and it’s not even over yet!
On Friday after watching the Royal Wedding, we took a drive down to Littlehampton to have dinner, and nice evening walk down by the sea; we sat in the harbour watching the sun come down while tucking in to a Mr. whippy dipped in chocolate, while the sea gulls looked in Envy

On Saturday, I received some Vintage scraps (one of quite a few bags I have ordered)...which is exciting because i am planning to make dolls clothes, for the dolls i am making. I have also brought some vintage lace trimmings and more cute little buttons.
Also on Saturday we took delivery of our two new leather sofas, which was exciting, because they took 2months to make. Well worth the Waite! They are electric and fully recline and huge...i am now designing cushion covers to match.

I also reorganised my crafting space, my sewing machine has been neglected lately, so I have lots of sewing projects planned over the next few weeks, which I am excited about, I am planning to have a table at a couple markets held in my area, and also open a online shop on Etsy.
With this in mind, I have also been working on my Photos; some of my photography will be available to buy as postcards. below are few of my favorite ones

Today, we went to my mother in laws house to celebrate her belated birthday, which was on Friday, I always look forward to our family gatherings, I am very fortunate to have a great relationship with both of our family’s, and my MIL is a fantastic cook, and always lays on a feast, today we had roast turkey with all the trimmings, followed by her home made banoffee pie, which we all fight over lol Sophia also enjoyed decorating the Cake.
After lunch we had a game of Kubb which is a Swedish game, and fantastic fun! Even if the boys did win! My sister in law brought her dog lexi, who is adorable and the children loved playing catch with her, and sneaking her treats, we rounded the day off with an Easter egg hunt, which the children loved.

And tonight...i booked my place at Knit Nation; i can’t tell you how excited i am about this! Both my friend and I were ready and waiting for that registration button to appear! And wasted no time to book a work shop 'spinning for knitting' and then afternoon tea in the knit salon. It can’t come soon enough!!

Are any of you planning on going to knit nation?

Hope your all having a fantastic bank holiday!!
